Battery storage systems have progressed from the older lead-acid to AGM then to Lithium and beyond. We are working our way into providing LifePO4 systems which are intelligent that self-monitor and control things like charge rates, temperatures & charge status that protect the cell components from within as well as remote management through RS485 or Bluetooth and soon WiFi & internet manageable from completely offsite. The notable advantages so far for these LifePO4 batteries are their significantly less weight, much faster charge times & smaller profiles taking up less room in the control cans. New technologies for keeping them at optimal temperatures automatically for better efficiencies are being developed as this technology progresses. There are other formats for Power storage coming out with varying costs, pros and cons that we are considering as we find out about them to see where they might fit in the usage groups we decide to support. They are constantly changing and we hope to stay in the forefront of supporting the most efficient types.
