Do I have to change my lifestyle if I get a security system installed?
There might be some small changes like actually arming and disarming the system when you come and go but the intention is to make the system work with your lifestyle.
With a PERS unit, is it heavy?
The units have been designed to be as light as possible with the cell radio board, battery and water resistant case. You have the choice of using a lanyard or belt clip, whichever is more comfortable.
Are there long term contracts with Adin?
There are no initial contracts with us unless you want to negotiate long term services and maintenance programs.
How long have you been in this business?
We started in the latter part of September 1989 installing and servicing alarms. We have been growing to add relevant products and services that fit a normal growth path since then.
Are estimates costly?
Estimates are rarely billed for unless being done under contract for recommendations or consultations.
Is solar really worth considering?
If you have looked at your hydro bill lately, you will notice they keep hiking the prices or adding lines that never used to be there calling them something else and the bottom line virtually never goes down. Solar is a great investment especially if you are in an area where hydro often goes out or fluctuates or spikes or has brown-outs. With new solar panel technology and advances in storage technology like the newer LifePO4 batteries, things are becoming more and more worth serious consideration. If you want your dependency on expensive utilities to reduce, Solar is the least obtrusive and most environmentally friendly method so far.
What is the typical warranty period?
For full installs, labor is a minimum of 1 (one) year from completion. Service calls typically have 1-3 months for parts of the return visit(s). Some products come with warranties longer than the typical year and we honor them when available. Warranties only apply to the original company who installed the parts. If you change service providers, warranties might not follow depending on the manufacturer’s policies.
